The Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried men and women who will work as SSC officers in the Executive Branch (Sports and Law) and Technical Branch (Naval Constructors) at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala.
Do SSC Officers Get PC?
PC is granted to SSC officers subject to service requirements and vacancies. Furthermore, the grant of PC is governed by Regs Navy Part III, Statutory, and Chapters IV, and XII, Article 124 and 126. SSC officers will have two chances to choose PC or extension of service.
Short Service Commission (SSC) An officer can have their career in the Indian Armed Forces for a limited period of time and then retire. The officers inducted through the Short Service Commission usually serve for 14 years.
Candidates on completion of the 10+2 (PCM) Examination or while in the 12th standard are eligible to compete. Successful candidates join the Naval Academy or NDA as Naval cadets. Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE). Graduates of universities may take the exam.
